DISCOVER OUR GREENS

Gatton’s 18 hole course is the perfect social group golf layout featuring some unique and challenging holes, however a golf course that won’t break your spirit! The course provides interesting dog leg holes, elevation throughout, tree lined fairways and beautifully manicured greens.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

PLAYERS are expected to know and observe the rules, local rules and etiquette of golf.

COMPETITORS in club events must be given right of way, immediately.

PRACTICE is permitted on the practice fairway only - two balls may be played on the course proper - continuous play only.

DRESS: Players MUST be correctly attired - sport socks, tailored shorts, shirt and shoes are the MINIMUM standard required on the course and in the club house.

FOOTWEAR: Soft spikes only.

 

LOCAL RULES

Ball Lying on Wheel Mark: Treat a G.U.R. 25-Ib.

Staked Trees and Shrubs, Irrigation Equipment, Hoses, Sprinklers and Marking Stakes (other than those defining out of bounds): These are immovable obstructions. Relief must be taken as in Rule 24-2b.

Overhead Wires and Poles: A ball striking these objects must be replayed

CHECK BOARD AT CLUBHOUSE FOR TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES.

Markers: Tees: Standard Competitions

  •   (men) - white

  •   (ladies) - yellow

Important Member Events:

  •   (men) - blue course

  •   (ladies) - red course

Social Players:

  •   (men) - white course

  •   (ladies) - yellow course

Out of Bounds: Areas beyond any boundary fences and White stakes with black tops.

Ground Under Repair: Marked white pegs or defined by painted line.

Water Hazards: Yellow stakes.

Lateral Water Hazards: Red stakes.

Red and White Stakes on edge of fairway define 150 metres to centre of green; blue and white 100m
